Privacy policy

Last updated: 14 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data Dexecuters (Digital Executers), founded and run by Umar Farooq, collects, why, and what you can do about it. If anything is unclear, email contact@dexecuters.com.

What we collect

When you use the assessment form

Your name, work email, and anything else you choose to tell us: company, website, which service you're interested in, where your infrastructure runs, your approximate monthly cloud bill and your message.

When you open a link from one of our emails

Links in our outreach emails contain a short code. If you open one, we record that the code was used, when, and which page it opened, so we know whether a follow-up is welcome. Our visit records don't include your IP address, and no cookies are used. Like any website, the servers of our providers keep short-lived technical logs for security.

To stop spam

When the form is sent or an email link is opened, we keep a one-way hashed version of the sender's IP address for up to 48 hours, so we can limit how often the same source can submit. The hash can't be turned back into the address, and it is deleted automatically.

When we contact you first

We sometimes email businesses we think we can help. For this we keep business contact details (name, job title, work email, company) and information about the company that anyone can look up, such as its website, where it is hosted, and its public DNS and email settings. We never test or access your systems without permission.

Why we use it

We don't sell or rent your data, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who processes it

Some of these providers are outside the UK and EU. Where that applies, we rely on the provider's standard data protection terms for international transfers.

How long we keep it

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Email contact@dexecuters.com and we'll act within 30 days. If you're in the UK or EU and unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies

This site doesn't set cookies, and our analytics are cookieless. It uses your browser's session storage only to remember an email link code until you close the tab.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
